When would I need to use a Solar Branch Connector?
Only needed when building a larger solar panel system (4+ panels) using Boulder 100i, Flex 100i or other Goal Zero Panels with MC4 connections
For Yeti X-Line power stations, you can chain 2 of these panels together in series (using the cables attached to the panels) before you need to chain in parallel via a Solar Branch Connector
For Yeti PRO 4000, you can chain up to 5 of these panels together in series (using the cables attached to the panels) before you need to chain in parallel via a Solar Branch Connector
Example setup using 8x Boulder 100i solar panels (Total of 800 rated Watts of Solar):
Chain 2x Boulder 100i panels in Series using the cables attached to the solar panels (create 4 of these 2x panel sets)
Connect each of the 4 panel sets to the 4-1 Solar Branch Connector (the Positive connector from each set plugging into the respective positive connector of the 4-1 Branch Connector; Repeat for each of the Negative connectors)
Connect the positive and negative connectors of the 4-1 to the MC4 to HPP adapter
Plug the HPP end of the MC4 to HPP adapter into the HPP input on a Yeti Power Station
NOTE: Each set of Series connected panels should have the same number of panels and be the same model
