When would I need to use a Solar Branch Connector?

    • When assembling a larger solar panel system (4+ panels) using Boulder 100i, Flex 100i, or other Goal Zero solar panels with MC4 connections
    • When connecting solar panels with MC4 connections to Yeti X-line power stations. Chain two panels together in series using the attached cables. Then chain in parallel using a solar branch connector.
    • When connecting solar panels with MC4 connections to Yeti PRO 4000 power stations. Chain up to five panels together in series using the attached cables. Then chain in parallel using a solar branch connector.

Example setup using eight Boulder 100i solar panels (800 watts of solar):

      1. Chain two Boulder 100i panels in series using the cables attached to the solar panels (create four of these two panel sets)
      2. Connect each of the two panel sets to the 4-1 Solar Branch Connector. Plug the positive connector from each set into the respective positive connector of the 4-1 Solar Branch Connector. Repeat for each of the negative connectors.
