Forrest Shearer

With a focus on foot-powered exploration and minimizing environmental impact, professional snowboarder Forrest Shearer has dropped into some of the steepest lines in some of the most remote ranges in the world. He was born and raised on the waves of southern California and now calls the mountains of Utah home. When he isn’t on snow or searching for surf he’s out working on environmental projects with the nonprofit Protect Our Winters.

“I spend my life in the mountains. Whether I’m shivering out the night in base camp or on an all day splitboard mission, power is critical. Goal Zero solar products are an essential part of my tool kit. GPS devices, avalanche beacons, radios, and cameras all need to be fully charged and play a huge part in my riding. Making sure all the little details are dialed makes dropping in on an untouched face that much sweeter. Harness the power of the sun!”
