Our Guide 10 plus mobile kit does not include a 12V female cigarette adapter because, it does not have the port for it. You can keep the one you have in case you ever buy a bigger Nomad panel.Q:

The solar panels do not have a consistent power draw to supply the power needed for the inverter. Inverter require a set input to be able to convert the current and still maintain the over all amp and wattage out put.Q:

This adapter plugs into the Nomad 7, and acts as a cigarette lighter port would in your car. There should be a USB cable to charge the Guide 10 battery pack from a USB source, and a super charge cable for the solar panel to charge the Guide 10. Costco has a number of kits, but the one I think you are referring to also has a light included.Q:

The 4.7mm to female cigarette is the cigarette adapter cable. This is the same end in your car. You plug this cable directly into your panel and plug your car charger for your lighthouse lantern into this plug. From there you are good to go.
