I just got this system in and charged it up and I must say that I am truly impressed by it! I am gearing up to hike the PCT and this was the last item on my list. at less than 4 lbs for the entire system, it is easy for two people to split between their packs and charge anything needed along the way. I will be blogging as I hike so I needed a reliable way to charge phones while on the trail and eventually laptops on future adventures when weight isn't as big of a deal. I chose the Sherpa 50 kit because it is the lightest weight option that allows me to chain systems together and build on in the future to run other items as well. Already, I can tell that I am going to find this to be the one comfort items that I'm not going to want to live without. Superb quality and just a great option for anything from backpacking to canoe camping and any other activity where you need to be able to charge devices in any condition.
