The three 6' 8.0mm will be more energy efficient vice one 30' cable. Voltage drops over distance. A 30' cable has 50 percent more voltage drop than an 18' cable. However, you should have less than a 3 percent loss for 18', not 50 percent. Test each of your extension cables separately to see if you have one that is defective.Q:

You can use in theory as many extensions as you want, however there is some energy loss with longer cords. It might actually be more efficient to use a 3 prong extension from the Yeti to the kitchen, it will probably be a better conduction through that cord then our extensions.Q:
