I use this to hook up my high frequency radio with anderson powerpole connectors for field use. The length is very short but that is just a minor annoyance.

The connections are sexless connections. Just flip it upside down and they will slide together. The connections are called anderson powerpole connectors. Tons of vids on youtube.

The cords should fit together red-to-red, black-to-black. It might take a little force, but they should connect.
