Awesome power pack. For a while it was just sitting around waiting for the power to go out, but then I realized an amazing use for it. Portable film lighting.

I put this battery into my backpack and the inverter with it, then plugged in two Farm-Use heat lamps lying around and put two 65W equivalent LED light bulbs in them. I now can run around with this while carrying two bright lights and be able to use it for lighting while having a friend film some action scenes.

I have put this all together and tested it, however I have yet to find out how it works when recording. The backpack does weigh a lot, somewhere around 30 pounds, so it WILL get heavy quickly.

I purchased the Extreme 350 and UI AC Inverter. I needed to power a CPAP machine with built-in humidfier on an upcoming camping trip where I will not have access to any AC power. It is easy to setup. I tried the Extreme 350 at home first. It powered my CPAP machine for 8hrs straight with no issues. I did not use it to power any other devices and I had 40% power remaining on the Battery. The next morning I connected the power pack to an AC outlet and it took less than 3hrs to fully recharge the battery pack. The power supply for the battery pack gets very hot when the battery is recharging, which led me to be concern as to where I place it during charging. Once the battery is fully charged and while the power supply is connected to the battery and AC wall outlet, the power supply is cool and NOT hot to touch. I have not used it camping yet but initial indication is it will work for me on our upcoming trip. There is some noise from the AC Inverter fan that I did not expect when using the battery. However, the low level noise of the fan along with the noise from the CPAP machine did not stop me from getting a good night sleep.

I have used the Extreme 350 power pack and it works very good. It runs my roomate's sewing machine very efficiently. I was extremely disappointed to find styrofoam packaging used in the boxes they were shipped in. For an eco-friendly company, they lose a few points for that blunder...

The description says it has a "AC Universal-port", so does that mean it has an actual outlet, or does it require the attachable inverter to have a regular 110 outlet? IE, why is there a "customization" to add the inverter, if the power pack already includes a universal port?

  In the Technical Details of the Extreme 350 Power Pack, the Outputs section states "requires UI" or requires Universal Inverter for these outputs. The Power Pack itself has a charging port and a 12V outlet port. This 12V port is for chaining, powering 12V devices, or attaching the Universal Inverter.

If I recharge the battery every 3-4 months and only use it occasionally, how long is the expected life span of the battery itself?   If the fridge is stable at 2.5 or less and the fridge is not utilized too much by opening and closing of it. It should last alone on the X350 for about 10 hours. This is by calculating the fridge at a continuous run at 30 Watts.

  The refrigerator's actual power use could differ but assuming an average 1.6A at 12V for 24 hours equals 19.2W or 461W per 24 hours. The Extreme 350 Power Pack alone would run it alone for 20 hours. The Boulder 30 Solar Panel is rated 30W. Assuming 8 hours of full sunlight equals 240W. Together they would power the refrigerator approximately 46 hours. If the refrigerator used less power than above or full sunlight was longer, run time would extend. To get it to run "forever", the solar panels have to meet your power needs. The battery stores the power and allows it to be available over a 24 hour period and the solar panels recharge the battery and supply usable power during sunlight hours. Two Boulder 30 Solar Panels equals 480W with 8 hours full sunlight and would allow the refrigerator to run as long as you want.

  Depending on the run time of the stereo. If you wanted to play the stereo alone, no speakers it would run it for 7 hours continuous. If you want to find out with the speakers you need to find out the specs regarding it's requirements.

Could the power pack run the Porsche Charge-o-mat II Battery Charger and Maintainer. It operates on standard 120 volt power and plugs directly into the cigarette lighter receptacle. This unit will produce a charging current up to 3.3 amps. Assuming that it is used just for maintenance rather than charging how long will the Extreme 350 Power Pack run before it has to be recharged?

I have an electric scooter that uses 5 batteries for a total of 60V/25-30AH. The site says the battery power is 2000W.   The referred cycles are (full) discharge/charge cycles not trickle recharge cycles. Keeping it plugged in won't extend its life though. It is a AGM lead acid battery, so at some point it will not be able to sustain the chemical reaction that creates a charge. A 5 year or more life is overly optimistic for a battery.

  The Shelf Life is up to 120 days. The battery needs to be charged every 3-4 months. The optimal storage for this battery is 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

  You should be able to plug any device you have that you normally charge up through your wall plug from the Universal Inverter that attaches to the side of the unit. This is where the power strip would plug in, allowing you to charge multiple items at once. Still, check the manual that is provided with this product for safety tips.
