I purchased this light system recently after the Solar Kit and was a little skeptical but I must say it is a amazing light and also only being 3 watts it's output of light was like turning on a house lamp. I haven't used it outdoors but found it came in handy when I experienced a blackout in my neighborhood. I was able to daisy chain several lights throughout my house which allow me to do housework for example cooking , taking a shower and etc without having to use a flash light to get around. My neighbors thought I had a back up generator which made me laugh. My house seem lit as though I didn't lose electricity my neighbor said Lol. The Estrella has a great feature of a wired mesh cord that allowed me to mount it just about anywhere and it stays in place which is great. The light is great in weight which is a plus when backpacking.The best feature of all is having the ability to chain multiple lights together this comes in handy when establishing a camp with multiple tents.
