Hi there
I bought a guide 10 just yesterday and have been charging the new precharge battery pack for more than 24 hours via USB but the green light indicator is still blinking. Shouldn’t a full charge be solid green? It there some circuitry problem? I bought this in Singapore, do i qualify for an exchange from the local retailer? My guide 10 should be version 2 based on the info provided on your webpage. Hope to get a favourable answer as soon as possible. Thank you
No matter where in the world you purchase our product you qualify for the same customer satisfaction. The light should go green when the Guide 10 is full. Please contact support@goalzero.com to troubleshoot your device.
Hey Ernest,

We are teachers in a remote village school in the west highlands of Tanzania. The diesel generator is unreliable at best. We know we can power our laptops, but a major interest is being able to run an electric sewing machine to make uniforms for our 800+ students. We hoped to go solar, but are told it is cost prohibitive. The Pfaff sewing machine is 70 Watts, 120 Volts, 50/60 Hz. What is possible?
Thank you,
Joanne
Talked with our Electrical Engineer and he said that he does not recommend running anything that has a motor off of our inverters until we convert all of our inverters to pure sine wave, right now they are modified sine wave. The risk people will take is their motor overheating. The pure sign wave inverters will be available next June most likely.
When will the new Sherpa 50 be out and what will they cost?
Look forward to seeing the new Sherpa 50 in stores and online mid to end of summer.
Thanks!
Hey just bought two guide 10′s and they both were first gen models the customer service was outstanding. I should be gettting replacements soon I hope, but more importantly Goal Zero has a customer for life due their professional and very prompt replacement policy (ie. they back their products)! I work for a government agency that works remote allot and you can bet that we will be looking to replace some of our current inventory with Goal Zero products and if my personal experince with this company is any indicator of how I will be treated as a government employee who purchases their products than we the people should be just fine. I’ve used Goal Zero Products for only a short time in the field but can assure you they work as advertised which for portable solar is huge in my opinion. Keep up the outstanding work there are those who are watching…
I bought the guide 10′s on line not from Goal Zero, but it was their outstanding customer service that steped up and offered to replace at no charge. Even up graded me to the guide 10 plus model, what more could you ask for. Really???
We love our customers and want them to be fully satisfied.
Thanks for the shout out!
Hi, I have send an email to your support regarding the nomad27. The unit I have purchased does not have any usb connection and it does not have a cable to convert the 12v dc connector to the cigarette male. This is very misleading as the advertise product shows as a usb port is available and a 12v dc male cigarette connection. However, the nomad 27 has provision for a chain to another nomad panel and with an output to connect it to a sherpa only. Can you please help to resolve it as I need a connection for the 12v dc to make available for charging my 12v devices without just having to rely on the sherpas. Thanks in advance.
Where did you purchase your Nomad 27? If not directly from us, some retailers out there may have a first generation Nomad that won’t have the USB connection. The 12V DC Connector does not come with the panel nor do we state that is does. We do have it available online for purchase. Please contact support@goalzero.com and we will make you happy.
